Where does the time go???

I have been a terrible blogger! The holidays, while lovely, put me off my schedule and I've had a hard time getting back to work. Let's start now, ok? After all, it's only January.....

Please check out the newest issue of Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine. It should be available early February and features one of our punch needle projects on the cover! Let me know what you think, won't you?

As always, we will be attending many local quilt shows. We love supporting guilds and meeting all of you! Our schedule, so far, includes the following dates:

January 31 - Trunk show at Sew KraZee Granbury, Texas

February 19-21 - Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild Show South Padre Island, Texas

March 11-13 - Dallas Quilt Guild Show Dallas, Texas
March 18-19 - Tyler Quilt Show Tyler, Texas

April 1-2 - Georgetown Quilt & Stitchery Show Georgetown, Texas
April 22-23 - Arlington Quilt Show Arlington, Texas
April 29-30 - Gun Barrel Quilters Guild Show Athens, Texas

June 3-4 - Tulsa Quilt Show Tulsa, Oklahoma
June 24-25 - Common Threads Quilt Show Wichita, Kansas

July 15-16 - Midlothian Quilt Show Midlothian, Texas

August 12-13 - Plano Quilt Show Plano, Texas

I will continue to update this list as dates are finalized.

Back to sewing......

July 4th was busy and fun! We very much enjoyed our local parade, a visit with family, barbecue, and a huge fireworks display. Hope your day was equally wonderful and filled with celebration! Now that everyone has slept in and recovered slightly (thank goodness for coffee!) let's talk sewing.....

Last week, the finishing stitches were added to our next two projects for QuiltMania editions. Please keep checking your local bookstores and quilt shops for Simply Moderne, Simply Vintage, and QuiltMania magazines!! We really do appreciate your support.

Shhhh.....lean in close.....are you ready for a lil secret?
Are you listening?
The design is complete for our very first block of the month pattern. That means we'll be super busy stitching blocks and building a gorgeous quilt over the next few weeks. We hope to have it ready for Houston International Quilt Festival. There will certainly be some sneak peaks here, on Instagram, and on Facebook so follow along!

Another new kit.....or two!

This beautiful floral appliqué is available as a pattern for $10 or a kit (with lots of wool!) for $50. Remember, we always ship purchases from our blog or orders from shows FREE!!!

The diamond penny rug is available as a kit only. $50 gets you approximately 1.5 yards of hand-dyed wool, including enough for the foundation, backing, and all the pennies. I also include my tips & tricks for working with wool!
